Dave Putland is a founding partner of Fair Work Lawyers, and has nearly two decades of experience in the legal industry as a well-regarded advocate and litigator.

He has considerable experience and success in a range of Courts and Tribunals, including the South Australian Employment Tribunal, the Fair Work Commission, Magistrate’s Court, District Court and Federal Court.

Dave is one of – if not the – most experienced, well regarded and successful employer representative in the workers compensation sphere in South Australia. He is also a leading expert (and is particularly sought after) for his expertise on workers compensation premiums and the construction industry long service leave scheme. He has saved employers hundreds of thousands of dollars in reviews of assessments under these schemes.

Complementing the litigation expertise, Dave also has extensive experience in reviewing, drafting and advising on commercial contracts and arrangements, specialising in the construction sector.

Prior to commencing Fair Work Lawyers, Dave worked in-house at an industrial association and at numerous commercial law firms.
